Portable Force Platform Range
All AMTI portable force platforms are fully multi-component, measuring the three orthogonal forces of Fx. Fy and Fz and the three orthogonal moments of Mx, My and Mz. They are lightweight and are shipped configured and ready to use on any relatively flat surface. Unlike AMTI's standard strain gauge platforms, the Accusway uses state of the art Hall effect sensor technology. The use of Hall effect sensors rather than standard strain gauge sensors means that it is extremely durable and has a high overload capacity.
The platforms have two modes of operation: digital and analogue. In digital mode the platforms can be used with AMTI's software. In analogue mode the platform can be used with other analogue systems, eg. motion capture systems with data acquisition via their A/D interface
The systems are very easy to set up and use. All electronics are integral to the platform. There is a simple telephone cable connection from the platform to an interface box. A power supply is also connected to the interface box to provide power to the platform. Digital outputs are connected from the interface box via RS232 and USB to a PC or laptop with AMTI software installed. Analogue outputs are connected via analogue cable to the third party system A/D interface.
The Accusway system has been specifically designed for the measurement of balance and postural sway. Software available: Netforce, Balance Clinic and Balance Trainer.
There is also a dual top version of the Accusway available, the Accusway Dual Top which has two separate force platforms, one for each foot, on one base.
The Accugait system is suitable for gait and balance. A Walkway is available for use with the Accugait platform. It is made in sections from lightweight aluminium foam composite with line up pins and quick latches for ease of use. Sections include middle surround sections to enable in-line or offset configurations, flat sections and tapered end sections.
The Accugait and Walkway combination provides a complete portable gait analysis solution, particularly in locations where it is not possible to have a standard floor mounted or recessed system. Software available: Netforce, Balance Clinic, Balance Trainer and Bioanalysis.
The AccuPower system has been developed by AMTI and Athletic Republic to provide a complete system for functional power assessment, including hardware and data acquisition and analysis software. It is also fully compatible with Dartfish video analysis (www.Dartfish.com). DartPower provides a powerful testing and training package enabling users to maximise the performance of their athletes while minimising the time spent analysing video and preparing useful feedback and analysis.
The AccuPower platform has the addition of two wheels at one end and a handle at the other end, for easy relocation of the platform within a room.
AccuPower data acquisition and analysis software is provided with the AccuPower platform. It provides three modes of operation – feedback, testing and playback. Calculations include centre of mass velocity profile, power profile, peak power/jump (negative/positive), rate of power development, 3D force vector display , COM jump height.
The HE600600 is a smaller portable platform developed solely by AMTI for jump/power testing. It is available for use with AMTI’s Netforce data acquisition software.
The HE6x6 Lowload platform is a small (6 x 6 inch) portable platform for quantifying very low loads and uses include human proprioception testing and small animal applications. Capacities range from 4.5 – 89 Newtons.
